I have been teaching at St. Cecilia School for 28 years, and had previous experience at other Catholic Schools in the Archdiocese.

Ruth Ozbek - Spanish Teacher

I have been at St. Cecilia School for 11 years.  Previously I taught for four years at Dunbar Magnet International Studies.

I have earned a Spanish Bachelor of Arts and a French Bachelor of Arts from Gonzaga University.

Wendy Casale - Library Specialist

 

I have been teaching at St. Cecilia School for three years.  

My previous teaching experience includes teaching 2nd grade in Chicago.  I also worked for the Connecticut Board of Education, starting a pilot Early Learning program for at risk children who had older siblings enrolled in a local school.

Chris Meadows - Learning Specialist, 7th Grade and 8th Grade Math Teacher

I have been teaching at St. Cecilia School for three years, and have been a teacher or principal in Catholic schools for a total of 33 years. I am a proud graduate of Appalachian State University in Boone, NC., having earned I a Master Degree in Elementary/Middle Grades Education.

Hunter Petty - Music / Band / Choir / Drama

I have been associated with St. Cecilia School off and on over the past seven years as a volunteer and substitute music teacher. This is my second year teaching here at this wonderful school! I am a professional violin and violist in the Portland Area.  I also direct two string orchestras (grades 3-8 and 8-12) at the Portland Adventist Academy in SE Portland.  I have also taught elementary string programs in several schools in Utah, and have a private studio where I teach violin, viola and piano.I studied music at Northern Colorado, and Marylhurst University.

Sister Diana Oakley - Technology Educator

I have been at St. Cecilia School for five years, teaching Middle School Language Arts for two years and have been the Technology Educator for the past three years.  I have had previous experience teaching Middle School throughout the Archdiocese. I have a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education and a Master of Education degrees from the University of Portland.
